Sky Sport Italia reports Parma are evaluating Fabio Liverani’s job at the Ennio Tardini and could consider a return for Roberto D’Aversa.
The 3-0 defeat to Torino was the third consecutive loss in Serie A and risks being decisive for the former Lecce coach.
The Gialloblu brought in Liverani to replace D’Aversa ahead of the 2020-21 campaign, but the broadcaster claims the decision could be reversed.
Parma sit 16th in the table after 15 games, one point above relegation, and the board will reportedly make a decision in the next hours.
D’Aversa is still contractually tied to the club and the former coach helped Parma climb from Serie C to Serie A, but as the different views on how to progress led to his farewell last summer, it’s not certain he would want a return to Emilia-Romagna.
