Former Inter President Massimo Moratti says he would be sorry if Suning sells a majority stake in Inter.
The private equity fund BC Partners have reportedly started an analysis of the financial situation of Inter ahead of a possible takeover.
Some reports in Italy claim BC partners would only buy a stake in Inter, while the economic newspaper Il Sole 24 Ore suggests Suning would sell a majority stake in the club.
“I would be sorry if the Zhang family sells Inter,” Moratti told La Repubblica newspaper.
“They didn’t only have the money, but also education, a familiar structure and the respect for Inter’s values.”
