“It’s a very special and unusual feeling,” the Spaniard told DAZN.
“The last few days have been the kind of emotions I’ve never had in my life, but this is football.
“I am here representing Fiorentina, but want to thank the fans who have been extraordinary over seven years and they know this will always be my home.”
Callejon spent seven years at the Stadio San Paolo – now renamed the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona – and made 349 competitive appearances for Napoli.
He scored 82 goals and provided 78 assists during his time with the Partenopei.
