Prince William and Kate Middleton have revealed that their entire family – including their three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis – are missing their “much loved” great-grandfather Prince Philip.
In an emotional thank you note in response to a letter of condolences from a fan, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge wrote: “Their Royal Highnesses have been incredibly moved by the many thoughtful messages they have received in recent weeks.”

The coveted piece of mail was delivered to the fan as a typed note, alongside a photo of the late Prince Philip in uniform.
It comes over a month since his passing on April 9, at age 99, and almost a month to the day since his April 17 funeral.
After Prince Philip’s death in April, Kate and William shared several adorable never-before-seen photos of their children with their great-grandad over the years.
The first unseen image accompanied William’s heartfelt tribute to his grandfather and showed a younger George riding a carriage with Prince Philip.
