Man that sucks big time.
A friend of mine who lived on a farm, back in high school, was fixing up his old sled in one of the barns. There was a spark, and it ignited a leaking fuel line. It caught fire. He tried to save the farm. He had a bucket of cold water, he would dip his hands in the bucket, then grab the sled and pull (while it was in flames) it toward the door till he couldnt stand it, dip his hands to cool them down, and do it again, until he got it out. But it was too late, and the cows bedding caught fire.
He proceeded to stay in the barn till he got every single animal out, then left himself, ended up basically melting all the skin off his hands, and most of his hair off including his beard, and was back in school 2 days later. Crazy bastard. Farmers are a different breed altogether man.
They lost most of the main building before firefighters got it under control, thankfully they had it through insurance somehow and got a new building, all animals lived too!
Horrible thing to happen, but could have been much worse. It sucks to lose your sled, but im glad nobody was injured. You can always get another sled, but you cant just get a new brother.
