Former Roma and Inter coach Luciano Spalletti has reportedly entered talks with Chile and could replace Colombia bound Reinaldo Rueda. reports the federation has contacted Spalletti, who is interested in the job, but the outlet claims there are two obstacles to overcome.
A linguistic and an economic issue has been underlined, as Spalletti doesn’t speak Spanish and his salary can’t be matched by the Chilean federation.
Colombian CT Rueda seems set for a return to his homeland, after two years at the helm of Chile and Spalletti has been lined up as his replacement.
