Toronto police say a pedestrian has died after being struck by a vehicle in a Scarborough neighbourhood Wednesday afternoon.
Insp. Kelly Skinner says a man was hit at the corner of Kennedy Road and Shepperd Avenue East and dragged about 500 metres by a vehicle at around 5:20 p.m.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Police said the driver remained on the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
