SA Police analysed over 400 hours of CCTV
Assistant Police Commissioner Peter Harvey is the head of Taskforce Protect, which was formed a few hours after it was revealed a man lied about his job at Woodville Pizza Bar, which sparked the lockdown of the entire state.
He says it took up to 36 police officers to comb through the footage.
They’ve also seized mobile phones, a laptop and a hard drive directly related to the person of interest who’s in quarantine.
That person is being spoken to by detectives.
The Assistant Police Commissioner said: “I am pleased at this stage to say that from what I have seen, he has been cooperative and has been helpful. But does not mean the investigation is by many means complete as the person stays in quarantine, as do two other key people we need to speak with.”
He said the interview process is due to take at least several more days.
